Yep, very sad day. He's playing the Great Gig in the Sky now.

Hopefully, this might prompt Dave to get over himself and get back together for a world tour.

Heard this news this morning, still in shock.

Luckily I have LOTS of Floyd on my iPod to listen to at work. Already gone through Dark Side & Wish You Were here. Its already a sad day for music with it being the anniversary of Marc Bolan's (of T-Rex fame) death.

RIP Richard Wright. You had more talent in one hand than a lot of modern "musicians" have altogether.

I saw that last time when they did The Wall stage show & Dark Side of The Moon.

Would love to see them again Saturday night when their in town, however the cash situation just won't allow me to unfortunately.

Ahhhh it's a sad time.

Many of the rock legends are now getting very old.

RIP Richard. Dark Side Of The Moon was/is a phenomenon.

Not wrong, and whats makes it even more amazing is that they did it long before synthesisers and that kind of thing were around.

Sad,sad day indeed. Immersed myself at a young age in the "Floyd", any bookworms out there, a good read is Nick Masons - entitled "Inside Out , a personal history of Pink Floyd". Vale Rick Wright.
