Default GT style pod filter enclosure

Is it possible to fit a GT pod enclosure to an AU?

Does any third party make a pod filter airbox designed to swap with the oem AU airbox?

Cheers

I run my pod IN my air box.I have the front cut out, and a ticky intake. I have taken out the reducer from the rear of the airbox and three inch stainless intake from that, all concealed, all relatively stock looking, and all legal.

BA XR8 airbox and bracket, bolts up to a couple of existing holes, then just get a pipe made up, up to TB.

Good looking bay WAR54L!

I've done the pod setup into my AU. Here's details of how I did it:

Whats the real world benefits of doing this power/torque terms over standard airbox/piping?

I haven't done any dyno work, or checked with my Gtech, but from the seat of the pants feel (which can be pretty damn misleading!) it did make a little bit of a difference.

IMO it made about the same difference as my Pacemaker extractors did when they went in.

Again, just to reiterate this is totally subjective, and is no way based on real evidence!
