Default transmssion stuffed

hey all , well the old au utes auto tranns is rooted,,,replaced the s5 solenuid and filter today ,,,, and the gear change is what i call harsh, its like it punches in to gear,,300 bucks to find that its stuffed,,,,so how much is a reco box?????????????????????????????????????????? and where is a good place to get my old box recod,,,,there was metal in the pan and filter ,,,im in sydney,,,,,,,my mechanic told me it will still go but i tow a boat most weekends so i want to sort this out soon ,,, so that was my day ,,,it sucks

Mine was done by Parramatta automatics.They seem liike good blokes.Talk to Craig. I have the car booked in next week due to an issue.If they fix it they will get my fullest recommendation and endorsement.
