Default Sony head unit

Hey guys,

I found this on ebay UK and am seriously considering buying it, but just wanted to know for sure whether or not it would fit in my 08 CL. I'm pretty sure it would, even if it meant having to make a custom fascia, but just want to be sure...

Cheers,

what will you do when it asks for the code?

"it wont fit in the square hole as i found out" surely he knew by looking at it, its pretty obvious its not square..

methinks possibly he doesent have the code?

im probably wrong.

"I am selling it complete with keycode"
So he says. So that part is sorted, and I'm pretty sure I'd be able to make a custom fascia for it. Just wondering about whether it'll fit without having to cut the dash at all, and how easy the wiring is going to be. Not sure whether or not it will be a simple plug out-plug in type thing.

Get the dash facia for the Focus Coupe-Convertible.

The model I saw at Miranda Westfield had the trapeze shaped head unit.

For Sony Head unit is not that great, plenty of better options out there.

There is now a few places online that sell a 1 din facia for the LS/LT

A double din touchscreen DVD would suit the hole better

A few of the facia's available are designed in a way that a good car audio place can modify it for double din if required.

I have a single din facia and am keeping a look out for a headunit that has decent USB performance...either single or double din.

You can buy a double din fascia here - http://fascias.com.au/product_info.p...roducts_id=129

Found it the other day. Now I'm looking at getting the Alpine IVA W202-E head unit. It looks incredible and blends in really well with the focus dash. It is visible here on an XR5 -
