Default Some feedback please - AU Fairlane mod

I have the opportunity to acquire a Havoc front bar and a spare Fairlane front bar, and plan to cut them up and blend them (if possible). I need to inspect and compare the shapes.

This is what I intend to achieve and I'm wondering what you AU lovers think. Please be honest. I know it looks funny but does anyone think it looks okay? Do you think it's an unrealistic thing to do (Havoc mouth into AU LWB lower front)?

Thanks!

Personally I think it detracts from the classy look of the Fairlane.

Looks like a big friendly giant smiling. I like it (though I would lose the chrome grille).

Haha yes, it sure does, and I always thought of C2R kits like they are lips wanting a kiss.

I half like it and don't like it. Same with the TL mouth. I will see how it goes.

Thanks!

All you need to do is turn the windscreen into eyes and you have a car that could of been in the movie cars :

edit: mattp beat me to it.

Photochop it with the lower lip being silver like the rest... and either black out the inner lenses or colour code them.

personally i don't like it i don't think it suits the fairlanes but as previously stated there is no harm in giving it a go it'll give you some experience and most things look better in the flesh anyways

I agree with pretty much everyone else who has posted. Don't like it, but its your car. Didn't you post a chop of your car with a b series gt front bar? if not it was another lane, either way it looked like it could work

This thread reminds me of the inital reaction to the photoshopped XR50 bar. Very few liked it, but once made and fitted to a car, everyone wanted one.

I say go for it.

I'd prefer a TL50 front lower lip on it.

the worst part is the TL50 front modification is just a bigger mouth piece..
you cut the existing mouth a bit bigger and screw it in..

there is no extra skirting or anything sadly

good luck with it anyways i think it should look very BA-BF fairlane(ones with driving light optioned in)
