For plot twists either Fight Club, Primal Fear or The Sixth Sense come to mind -

and I can't believe noone's mentioned "The Empire Strikes Back" yet?!?!

has anyone seen Hostel. How good was the ending in that!! not so much in terms of twist - but in revenge! had me punching the air and yelling out encouragement - something I've never been moved to do in a movie before.[/QUOTE]

I watched hostel on the weekend, that would have to be the most pathetic film I have seen, great boobs, good 10 minutes at the end, that was about it.

Hostel is a great film....BLOODY hardcore though, some real OUCH sequences, similar to the Saw style...but a great ending for sure!

Fight club was one of the few movies where the ending was a shock. *Never* picked it.

While this is not the usual type of movie I watch, I must admit that "Little Miss Sunshine" absolutely had me rolling on the floor during the final scene where the little girl did her dance routine.

I initially hired it because it had Steve Carell (the 40 year old virgin) in it and I'm a big fan of his.

If you haven't seen it, do yourself a favour and check it out. Very funny ending.

I'd have to say "The Illusionist" and "The Prestige" had some really good endings. Although with "The Prestige" it was a little more predictable, you had no idea of the scope of what they did.
