I wouldn't bother going to SBR!
I went there in late Feb this year, asked if there was a showroom or anything like what DJR has and was quickly told that they were too busy and would have to come back to their open day.
Yeah really convenient when you are restricted with time.

Some have said that SBR is a business and i shouldn't expect to get a guided tour, i didn't want one anyway, i just wanted to buy some merchandise.
What i couldn'tr understand is that if SBR dont like visitors, why do DJR give you printed directions of how to get there.
Surely if SBR didn't want visitors, they would ask DJR to stop sending them.

mate, it's a secret plot to beat SBR.
see, DJR keep sending ppl there, they get distracted, run out of time to finish the cars, the cars break down, and DJR beats them.

but keep it a secret, OK!!

and yes, i'm a twit. :evil_laug

If you only wanted to buy merchandise I can't see why there would have been a problem.. They do have the shop part that you can go in and browse..

Never had a problem myself (maybe it was close to their open day and they didn't have any stock on the floor - I really don't know)... Does seem strange though.. they are usually very lovely to deal with...

DJR's shop is very nice, my family and I last summer holidays went upto Queensland and made sure that, that was one of our things on the to do list. Was very nice all the cars they have got there and everything is awsome and to have a tour in their workshop is even better!
