Default Getting a pool table

So we are getting a pool table, my parents finally decided it would be a nice addition. However, there is one drawback to this milestone...the EL XR6 now has to live outside, as there will not be any room to get it into the garage. I measured and you could still park it there, but as the to awkward driveway, you need to drive in on an angle, so no go.

I just want to know if many people on here play pool/billiards and if its worth kicking the car out for.

Doesn't really bother me, I'm just bored :hihi:

Hi, I brought a pool table, lucky I have a big area near the kitchen so the BA still gets the garage. It is awesome, all of a sudden you have more mates who want to come over. Good for sunday bbq and a few rounds of pool. Go for it...

We have a 5ft x 10ft pool table at home, though we built an extra room on the house for it.
We used to play a fair bit, but since I got more practice then anyone else here, no one wants to play me anymore.

Still gets used on Christmas day and whenever anyone is bored.
But I love ours, it's a decent size and it looks awesome with the turned legs and all.

The guy who moved ours when we bought it said he usually moves the same tables every 3-4 years, as once the families grow up and move out, the tables are no longer needed and get sold on again.

They've got one of these at Johnno's Bar in Cairns. Bloody annoying, can never get my senses on it, get my bearings all wrong and everyone fights over whats going on. And this is with 5 empty regular tables :yeees:

We've got a pool table, but it's inside the house. It barely ever gets used anymore, only on occasions like Birthdays and Christmas when guests come over.

I kicked my pool table out of the garage once the BA came along, plus i don't have to wash it as often now.

The round pool tables are funny! An Irish pub in Rocky QLD has one too! Classic!

Amart sports shop recently advertised Ford pool cue and balls. Can't recall the prices exactly but I know they weren't cheap.

There's a Ford Racing cue on eBay but there aren't any pics of the cue, just of a black ball! :

Yep i like to have a game or heap a week ..
I play div 1 here w.e.b.a.(Warrnambool)(and secretary for the last 6 seasons)
and play div 1 in g.e.b.a. (Geelong)
as you see these are since 2001 untill Last x'mass ..

and This is a small comp only about 200 players .

A lot of people think that 8ball is just a pub game but there is a lot of money in it if you are good
There are 5 big comps a year each with $10,000 prize money and there are another 23 comps with prize money from $5,000 to $8,000 So if you play well what a better way to spend a weekend.
and thats not counting pubs/clubs that have there small knockout comps maybe each week like a lot of places..
When my son was Born I gave him his first pool cue a kids english ash 2 piece cue and i cant wait till he is 5 or 6 and i can teach him to play .
