Just wondering if anyone is into making home movies and cutting DVD's with menu's, what software do you use. Do you use the standard one with the burning software, or do you have a seperate program. I'm after something that is easy to use.
Any suggestions would be great. Thanks P.S Just cause I'm the naked guy, doesn't mean my movies are those type of Home Movies :

My brother uses a separate program to make the whole DVD, compiles it into an ISO then uses something like Nero to burn it onto a DVD.

Nero does a fairly decent one, I haven't played round with it much so it might not do everything specialist programs will.

Yea, I just use Nero, it does a good enough job.
ULEAD will give you more options / customisation.

Thanks guys. I've had a play with Ulead before and have the trial version of it somewhere. But reinstall it and give it a go.
Thanks

while on topic...I just brought a new dvd burner..
Is it possible to make "normal" DVD's out of *.avi or *.mpeg files instead of a straight data swap? The dvd player we have at the moment doesn't play data. Thanks!

Open, Create DVD > DVD Video, Drag in your video (you can edit it at this point and split into chapters), Adjust your menu options, preview, and burn! Simplest I've used. |

I use ShowBiz and Ulead VideoStudio7. Both are quite good.
