My Samsung D500s screen has decided to work nomore. The image is fliped, blured and discoloured. The phone is still under warranty, but my problem is i cant seem to find the receipt. Will Samsung accept the warranty claim, even though i have no proof of purchase. The phone is not stolen, and i have the box and everything that came with the phone, just no receipt.
Thanks in advance |

I have one myself and have had the screen freeze on me a few times.
Surely if you are on a contract they can take that as proof of purchase? |

They seem to be somewhat problematic. My D600 Needed its battery replaced after ONE day!!!! No good really. Do an internet search and apparantly its common.
I beleive if you register on the net and give them your serial number then they can trace it as yuours. Go to your mobile dealer and ask them what you can do. Im sure that with your bills, serial numbers and such thered be enough proof to prove it. I have replaced 2 of my phones and they dont ask for reciepts |

Im assuming the issue of not finding a receipt is coming up because you bought the phone "outright", even if that is the case, just go into the shop you purchased the phone from, they will def. have a copy of your receipt on their system. Dont take no for an answer, I know for a fact Vodafone and Telstra keep receipts.
If your on a plan, then a receipt is def. not necessary, they can simply look up your contract start date for warranty purposes. And as far as the Ebay purchase option, im sorry i cant help in that regard. |
