I have seen under that car, the amount of work that has gone in to it and the quality, it's not hard to imagine that it has topped $200k.

The car is spectacular

at least the firies did their job properly... thats a bit of power isnt it? cant wait to see bosses with those kinds of figures... i know its off the subject, but gtr can make 1500 horses, from a 2.6litre 6, usually brought out to a 3litree though... and they only use 2 turbos...

In the height of the F1 turbo days they were making about 1200hp per litre. Not that we can really compare these to a stone age Holden motor.

Just another holden, let it burn some more. Sounds like they have way too much money. "When you play with fire, Fire will play with you"

Steve's (Owner of Redcliff dyno& Performance) daily driven ba xr8 ute makes 13oorwhp. I couldn't imagine it'd run that figure everyday but he told me that he drives it everyday without a hassle, it has a 35oorpm stallie in it to.

A Boss engine to hold that much grunt will run you around $15,ooo. A big ИИИИoff blower setup like steve's will run you $17,ooo.

The article in street machine said TRYHRD was designed to make around 14oorwhp not 2ooo like mentioned. I think it's main purpose is to win pump fuel dyno comps.

I'm not a Holden fan by any means, but TRYHRD is one of the best engineered vehicles I've ever seen in Australia. It spun the rollers to around 1200rwhp again a couple of hours after that fire as well.
