Thumbs up The Ebay Auto Depression Game™

It's friday, it's lunchtime, and I'm here playing a little game I made up to pass the time and make myself truly depressed.

The steps to play are quite easy, and are as follows :
1) Fire up the EBay US site
2) Search for any desirable piece of metal, (preferably with a Buy-it-now price)
3) Do a straight dollar conversion to $AUS
4) Take three seperate looks at the price in $AUS
5) Smack head into monitor or desk repeatedly in frustration and depression
6) POST your results into this thread to share the anxiety!

To introduce everyone to the game, here's a few I prepared earlier.. (current exchange rate being $1AU = $0.734US)

* 2006 Dodge Charger SRT-8
* Price in AU = ~$57,000 (buy it now)
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Dodge...19243142QQrdZ1

* 2006 Mustang S281SC (supercharged)
* Price in AU = ~$80,000 (going on other buy-it-now S281s)
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Ford-...18849310QQrdZ1

* 2003 Lamborghini Murcielago
* Price in AU = ~$204,000 (reserve of $150k US)
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Lambo...19929788QQrdZ1

* 2004 Mercedes AMG E55
* Price in AU = ~$80,000 (buy it now)
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Merce...19663644QQrdZ1

* 2001 Porsche 996 911-Turbo
* Price in AU = ~$106,000 (buy it now)
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Porsc...20087805QQrdZ1

Ok now people, who's going to play! The person who makes everyone cry the most wins (or who gets people the angriest at our government and situation)!!!!

Another reason to push for "the switch to L.H.D".

Imagine how much cheeper cars would be if we drove on the other side of the road.

Yes true we are a small market compared to the USA thats why our cars are so much more expensive than theirs, but we would be saving heaps if we started driving on the "wrong" side of the road.

You obviously don't drive around in a $2000 car every day :king:
Just looking at the cars you people own makes me depressed, especially when I consider what I had

Ahh my favourite Marque Aston Martin. I will be happy with a DB7 Vantage in Mendip Blue. Still a cool 90 Theeeeusand Pounds for a tidy Strider condition approved one.

Yes will make a good addition to my XR.

*2005 BMW M3 Convertible, 10,000 klicks on the dial

*"buy it now" price: $53,000 US OR aprox $72,500 aussie buckaroos. Damn. Thats around half of the price such a vehicle would fetch in this country. Double Damn. I think I'm gonna be needing that valium Mr. Mcmaster kept reccomending.

Twin Turbo Corvette Z06 AUD$110k. I suppose it's not that cheap, but a Z06 is killer when stock, two turbos and it'd be insane!

Some excellent results there gentlemen, all of them showing what we are missing out on in those price ranges!

I neglected the classics in my first "hand" in the game, but they are really a contender in terms of price and availability compared to over here too.
