Wednesday night Race 4 Real off-street meets continue to be one of the most popular events on the Sydney Dragway calendar and it’s quite easy to see why!
Here are some great performances from last week’s Race 4 Real at Sydney Dragway. Top Japanese of the Week  This phat old Toyota was seen buzzing up and down the strip all night, recording a best time of 14.94 @ 90.89mph. Top Rotary of the Week  This neat RX-7 street car pulled out a healthy 13.13 @ 107.75mph. Whatever is under the bonnet, it sure sounded good. Top European of the Week  European V8 coupes don’t come much cooler than the Audi RS 5. The 4.2-litre V8 sounded sublime near its high-rpm rev limit, chasing down the finish line for a best time of 13.29 @ 104.77mph. Top Ford of the Week  Managing a best ET of 10.52 @ 130.03mph, this red Falcon screamed louder than a rock star, and sure looked like one too with its shiny red paint. Top Holden of the Week  Nothing looks as cool as a fat VK with a cranky V8. This fast Holden ripped up the track for a best time of 12.35 @ 113.47mph. Commentators Pick of the Week  This standard-looking Honda Civic apparently wasn’t so standard, running to the 11-second bracket all night. The Honda went on to run best quarter mile time of 11.91 @ 116.09mph! Race 4 Real is on every Wednesday night at Sydney Dragway, weather permitting. Keep it safe, legal and off the streets!
