Put yourself in their shoes. Would you want to walk out to a circus on your last day of stable life and first day of the unknown?
Sad thing is that it will be somewhat of a media circus anyway.
The cameras will be there, hoping to film workers in grief, and asking them inspired questions like "Is this a sad day?" and "what does the future hold?"

A gathering of falcon lovers doesn't need to be on the same day, and some workers might CHOOSE to attend. Knowing that people actually gave a #@$% might even comfort some.

The XB GS did it for me as did the film Mad Max. I have had a passion for ford ever since.

Sad to see FoMoCo manufacturing leaving Australia, I guess we have ourselves to blame, myself included.

A send off for the employees who have fed our passion seems appropriate and deserving, Ford should back this and support the loyalty we have given over many years.
