Default Twin outlet Muffler for AU XR6II

Hello All,

I am looking for a twin outlet muffler to go onto my XR6 as the single I have just doesn't look good with the bodykit that is on it, I found one on ebay but I am not really sure that it would fit, have a look and post your thoughts.

Or should I look around for a Muffler off an XR8?

What are your thoughts??

here is the link to the muffler:

Welcome to the forums too.

Doesn't look too bad. I suppose you'd have to find out measurements off the seller, then measure up what space you have in the rear bar. That's really the only problem I see.

It wont fit. The resonator on an AU is tucked up under the body more, the tips would sit on a 45 degree angle behind the bumper.

What you want to do is look for just the tips alone. Then just get them welded onto the existing pipe.

More like it but probably too long. Get under the back of your car and have a look at how much pipe you have before the outlet. That will give you a good idea of wht sort of room you have. The other option is to go to a muffler shop and have a chat to them. They have probably done 1000's of AU's so will know what will fit.
