Default the Biggest Loser

Ok we now should have all seen the new show "The greatest loser"
Id just like to say how friggin demoralising...............
Firstly the group of people are made to stand side by side, the men wearing briefs or jocks, and the women in Bra'ey things and knickerboxer type of shorts, was this really necessary, i mean it was obvious they were "Big"
The following day they were lined up outside to meet the trainers, each person was wearing a singlet with their name on it and their weight slapped across it bigger than their name that was printed. Hmmmmm
So today i see they are eliminating ( ahh that word) one of the contestants based on how much weight they lose.
the least is gone......
What a load of $hite... I recon they all should stay for the duration of the show.. 12 weeks...
What a crock................ out:

They all saw the first series, so they should know what to expect. There is the prospect of a couple of $$$$$$$$ at the end too you know.

yes they should. im really getting sick of all these reality shows. what the people dont realise is that they are being made fun of. its not about them losing weight. its putting people up against each other so that the show contains some "drama".

what they should do is have pretty much the same thing but like you said everyone stay on till the end and reward the person who lost the most weight. that will show the overweight people at home how good it would be to lose the weight, instead i think it makes most overweight people ashamed of failing to lose the weight.

thats just my opinion.

spot on... the should have all twelve contestants on the show for the entire length - and the winner is those that have the biggest loss at the end of the show. Losing 15kg in one week is just water loss with a slight amount of fat.

Responsable weight loss takes time, and health changes - not one week.

in most cases they are getting paid for it though. and seeing they are gluttons I would say they have no problems with being demoralised on TV, earning 15 minutes of fame and a few tens or hundreds of thousands of dollars

this show is funny as. they show the same footage before and after the ads, to waste a bit more time. always plug them subway ads or whatever the hell it is... suprised Jared isn't the host.

The best thing about this show, is the Host (even the US version) should be joining in... why didn't sandra sully do the hosting

As far as I'm concerned - the more she hosts, the better. :hihi: (especially if she wears that clothing she wears on the CH10 ads _2: )

I reckon the show is alright. Its not me making a fool of myself on tv so who cares. Its not like these guys are forced to do it....
