The NASA 'Opportunity' rover. Anything that can enter an atmosphere then move on wheels is pure awesome. Should make a good restorer by 2050-2070. Only thing will be freight cost back to Earth!

Modern TVR's really appeal to me for some reason, espicially the Sagaris.
I also love 90's GM pony cars, espicially LS1 powered Pontiacs |

Apart from being an MG enthusiast (I currently own a 1972 MGB, and have fully restored a 1951 MG TD from the ground up to win outright state and national concourses), I have a very soft spot for the Valiant R and S Series. I owned a Valiant S Series in the mid '70's but not knowing proper body and engine restoration techniques back then with the rust etc, I sold it after a couple of years.

I love driving the misses k12 micra. Fun to chuck around, makes you think as there's no power so have to judge things like hills and feels so much smoother to drive then the gravelly diesel mondeo. Most importantly though you can't help but smile when you drive it. It genuinely makes you smile when you drive it.

I wouldn't mind a VK group A, don't really know why but hey, shame about the driveline tho,
at least it's obviously influenced design wise by the Mad Max Falcon (well, it looks like it anyway) |

I have a soft spot for the old Mini Moke! Low to the ground, no doors, extreme simplicity. Folks used to take us to Magnetic Is and hire one as kid....great memories!

I've gotta agree with you chopstar. Something about the Fiat 500 I've always liked. It's got character. Being almost 2m tall like you, I'd never be seen in one, even though they are surprisingly roomy in the front seat...

It must be something about the unobtainable that draws tall people to small cars.
