Default Front window seal

Hey guys,

I had to replace the top window seal on my AU as the old one had become too hard and cracked. Bought a second hand one from the wreckers and pushed it into place (little shorter than I would have liked it to be). Was fine for approximately 3 weeks, but now when the wind hits it creating popping noises all the time, and re-pushing it down fixes it only temporarily.

Should I use a silicone (heard that was bad) or something to 'glue' it into place?
Any advice would be great.

Cheers,

As long as you dont use the silicon on bare metal it should be fine imo, a little spot of superglue could do it also.

cheers, Maka
