I did a build a Calais and it came In At $44,800 Drive Away The V series came In At $51,200 Drive Away. A Bit More Than I Thought $4800 for Drive Away Costs???

Yeah I did a ss sedan and came to $48k. For that coin give me a GT 335 second hand anyday

VF also has fixed price servicing...$185ea for four services for first 60,000kms.

On roads includes dealer delivery of up to $1995... Add that stamp duty and rego and that gives you the extra. So Csv8 are you going to buy one? Calais seems like great value to me!

Calais V seems like the sweet spot to me with its premium heated leather seats, bose stereo, heads up display and sunroof.

wish the calais had the option of a manual! might have to wait for a few 2nd hand VF Senator manuals come up on the market.

DASH GT no I am not..happy with my GHIA...as on the wrong side of 60 next car will be my retirement car...a medium size car...Focus Titanium and i30 has impressed me...

I think the $39,990 Calais is my own sweet spot. Leather, proximity key, LED daytime lights, 18 inch alloys, blind spot assist on top of all the other standard features like auto parking etc is fantastic.
It's how much the old VE Omega used to cost. |

If you want a manual calais, i was told by a holden dealer a few months ago that if you want it they can do it, so you don't know until you ask, a special order car could be done.

I think you'll find they were telling you porkies. Holden will NOT build a manual Calais, no ifs, no buts.

That is drive's stuff up as Calais is definitely auto only according to Holden's website.

I'm wondering if there would be any way I could convince them to build me a manual SS V sportwagon. The HSV wagon comes in manual so surely there are a few running down the line...
