Who would have thought, fit new 3.7 diff (m86)in BA NA6, rebuilt BTR 4 speed and go to fit the tailshaft after doing centre bearing, tailshaft wont fit. After much sweating and swearing, measure old taxi diff and new m86 and front is 15mm longer. Ponder and drink beer..............revalation, pull yoke off front of tailshaft and machine down yoke area extra 20mm, on neighbors lathe, fits, all good. Now have to cut and shut centre bearing bracket to move it forward 15mm. 3 hrs later back to where i was. Good thing clipsal is on in the shed!
