Default Revenue Cameras in Queensland

Courier Mail, 24/12/05. " Speed Cameras earn Q Govt, $1k an hour."
I have no objection to speed cameras being used. What I object too is HOW they are used. Hidden in bushes, behind bus shelters etc. The aim is to deter speeding not collect revenue. If cameras are in plain sight, people will slow down, BUT that won't raise revenue.
Merry Christmas everyone. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :sm_headba

Yer QLD has it pretty good compared to Victoria... bloody nazis down there.

This reminds me of the old joke that went something along the lines of "What's the difference between a cop with a radar gun and...". I won't say the rest because its quite rude ;)

$peed Camera$ are not life saving but pure revinue rai$ing items. They have proved it in England.Only a visible police presence will deter speeding AND save lives.
