I reckon my signature answers that question nicely. This is the main reason I answer alot of questions on this forum, about tyre pressures along the lines of reading the tyre wear, rather than other peoples experience. I also cop alot of flack about it too, but hey, I'm not the one paying for their tyres, so it doesn't bother me.

Yep. 14.7psi (i think) is one bar or 100kpa. Base atmospheric pressure
