Agreed. Concept cars have always been a way of manufacturers inidicating their future direction... in a roundabout way. You dont need 5 brains in your head to be able to tell the EFIJY isnt suited for a production car - but dont be suprised if little bits and pieces start making their way into GMH's cars over the coming years.

Case in point - the Mazda RX8. Not sure if you all remember when it was released as a concept car, but it was seen as pretty 'far out'... "Suicide doors... pfft like we'll ever see that on a japanese production car". Years later and looky what we have... sure, plenty changed from the concept but without it we wouldnt have one of mazda's finest cars.

I think the EFIJY is brilliant. At the very least - it's an outstanding form of marketing hype and has really stolen the show...

"Wow, i really like the minor modifications to the BF falcon's body and the.... hang on - WHAT THE HECK IS THAT AT THE HOLDEN STAND?!?!?"

$1.5million well spent IMO.

Yeah but you would think anyone who would buy one would have the $$$$ to run it. I think the engine was the clue as to what's is to come.

I really don't know why they built this car, it really belongs at a Hot Rod and Custom show, not an international motorshow.
