Default aftermarket stereo removal issues

Gday guys,

having some issues with my au1 falc (taxi spec), when i bought it, it came with a pioneer head unit and 4ch amp, i need to get the head unit out due to a bad wiring job, but with no amount of pulling, twisting, levering or swearing will the bastard budge. im guessing it was installed by strathfield or somewhere like that by the look of the wiring assembly.

are there any tricks to get it out?

Also, the bucket/cavity section directly below the HU...how the balls do you get that out?

cheers

Ford we're great enough to provide a specilised set of tools designed to get help people get aftermarket headunits out from the curved dash fascia, and relativle cheap too.
