Not any more...its slipping like Debbie from Dallas. One more day left and then the new box goes in. It is being built tommorow .The kevlar bands are in and heavy duty clutches. I have been warned though ..no burnouts!! I dont do burnouts except for the track .I have learnt that burnouts are not diff friendly and now auto transmission unfriendly.

Just a bit confused Stav (nothing unusual :togo: ), did you get Allstates to do it or someone else?

Just spoke with Joe today ... and he told me the guys at AllStates in Parramatta ... don't work there anymore .... so if anyone rings there and asks for a built box .... they might get someone on the other end with no idea.

So disregard my post about AllStates now.

It is not booked in there anyway. I will reccomend this guy when the box is running properly. So far he sounds like a nice bloke. In the past I have recomended people from enthusiasm and excitement. Most did not live up to their hype and reputation. If anything they charged alot for no big deal or having to do things a second time. I will make sure this guy gets his barrow pushed if I am happy with the box.

Allstates still build those boxes Mechanic. They described the same ones as the ones you mentioned. They were very proffessional on the phone and sounded nice.

Just got home guys. I have to run the box in for 70 to 100 kays.First impressions are ...no slipping at light throttle!! Under light throttle the car car hit the speed limit alot quicker and smoother.Give it as few days and Ill keep you posted. So far the drive home has been quite good.

Probably as tight as any new box. No doubt it will loosen up over time, until it gets sloppy. Oh, you were talking about the automatic transmission - my comments still apply.
