Hi All,
I have recently purchased a second hand BA XR8 Ute. I have been driving around in a 4 cylinder hilux for the last 2 years so i am quite excited. I need to get a towbar fitted. Anyone know where in brisbane would be good to go? Cheers! |

You could take out the rear muffler for a bit more sound out of the 8.
I did this on my old man BA V8 Ghia, and it has a little bit more sound to it. Surprisingly it doesn't drone at all. But it hasn't made it as loud as you would want if you got a totally new exhaust. At least you can hear the bloody thing now though! With a stock exhaust they sound too quiet (even for a luxury car). If you take it out, make sure you get another straight pipe run through and welded to continue the exhuast out the back of the car. Wont drone as much, and no chance of the exhaust fumes getting in the car, etc. |
