Unhappy Choice of repairer

Hey peeps, im getting my BF fixed through insurance ATM (curb incident) and I have the option of choice of repairer and I need some suggestions. I live in Perth Western Australia by the way. Anyone know of any or have any advice in this situation ( Im thinking that the insurance company SGIO, will just choose a cheep, dodgy repairer), Cheers!

If SGIO have the life time warrenty (RACV does) then they will not pick a cheap and nasty repairer, otherwise it will cost them more.

Joondalup Smash Repairers IMO.

Which SGIO centre are you dealing with? Myaree, Balcatta or Bassendean?

The service is pretty good, they just may not let you use a repairer outside of the Bassendean area (not sure about this though).

If you select a repairer, let them know and they will get them to quote and also give them a second crack at quoting if there price is out.

Would that be the lifetime warrenty that IMA forces repairers to provide? The repairers bare the cost of any warrenty claims, not IMA.

Yep, that would be the one...

Only time the insurer is exposed is if the repairer goes broke and no longer exists. Wonder if this has ever been tested when a repair shop changes ownership??
