Default Digital Picture Frames

It's the wife's birthday soon. I always have a bloody hard time coming up with something different.

Someone mentioned a digital photo frame. I reckon it's a great idea.

I just wondered if anyone has one? Or has an opinion on them?

There are a load on eBay, some better than others.

If you don't know what I'm talking about, HERE'S one I have my eye on.

Appreciate any suggestions/opinions!

Nice, I think its a great idea, model 6 and 9 out of the frames look classy.

Are you planning on loading a memory card full of photo's of her and yourself together - all the memories? That'd be a nice touch.

I think they are a great idea. Can they run off something other than the memory card? I always transfer my pictures to CD's so I can free my cards up to take more pictures.

The only thing holding me back is I can't find one with a baltic fine timber finish to match everything else in my house!! But yeah, love em!!

Something cheaper and a bit more personal is this:

If she's like me and likes to carry photos, these are great! Mine has 113 images ATM (internal memory) and I'm yet to fill it. It's great, because I don't have to fill my wallet/bag with prints They are a bit bigger than a credit card, have an aweseome resolution screen, and about as thick as a deck of cards.

I got mine for $40 from Target.

I reckon they are fantastic. A few friends have them and they look nice and make a ton of sense these days now digital cameras are the norm.

Sounds like others do like them...thats made my mind up...I'll probably buy the one I linked. It seems the best on ebay for display/resolution and size.

I have considered making my own from an old laptop...it's not too difficult...might have to give it a try. Lots of documents on this ono the net.

But not for the missus...I'll buy a proper one for her! lol...
