Been done before at the FPV day, they issued an EPA notice on a fully restored totally stock Phase 3 with New old stock exhaust system for noise polution.. They didnt pull him up, it just appeared in the mail.
Needless to say there were some red faces at Police PR...

Just saw it, Stinking pigs targetting cars parked in a show and shine and even corporate cars that had nothing to do with the show.

Ive seen them target people coming and going from the Easternats, even those bringing their cars on a tow truck or trailer to do the right thing had the tow vehicle canniried. One of the reasons a sensible off street event will never work and trouble like a month ago will show its head every week, month or 5 years untill eventually something even worst than the last time happens.

I didnt see the news but for the police to come along and do that, its a very low act, i can understand if theres a few idiots breaking the law but to punish the people who just love there cars and wish to show them to the public, just wrong.

If Police continue to Punish those trying to do the Right thing, they can only blame themselves for another Nobel Park...

Get a brain ****head, the cops there were just doing their job. These "pigs" would be the first people you go crying to when something happens to you.

Like it or not they were doing their job. They could have used some discretion but if the cars aren't roadworthy then they will get a canary.
People need to get over themselves.

While his wording wasn't ideal i think Police have better things to do than crash a Show and Shine.

shutup. We went to the cops when our house got broken into and this is how it went:

COP: yeh ummmmmmmmmm.......hmmmmmm yeh. These this arnt good. mmmmmmmmmm

ME: so do you think there is much chance of catching the guys?

COP: ummmmmmm....yeh...Its hard to......say.......hmmmmmmmm.

You could tell they didnt care and where just doing there job half assed. Even if these cops where sent out there to inspect cars, they didnt have to go giving everyone yellow stickers.

It's not like cops rock up for their shift, are thrown the keys for the car and told do go where they want and do what they want. Someone higher up has planned it.

Low act or not, most of the time you get a canary for one of two reasons. Having an obviously unroadworthy car or being a smartarse. You can't blame anyone but yourself.

I agree.

The last event I went two the boys in blue turned up. They harrassed us when we were just talking, it was in an area near my house.
The disapointing thing is that hoon frequent my street (none of which I know) and they have been doing it for years and I have never seen police take any action.
Note: My street is 40kph to 60. Cars speed esimated by body roll and squeeling tyres is 80kph....

I feel sorry for the kids in my area.

^^^^Obviously a cop yourself or someone who hasn't a car to show, you're telling me what the police did a Chadstone was fair. I bet if your car got defected for being parked you wouldn't be saying " the cops there were just doing their job". Fairs fair I think in these situations.
The police are asking for trouble if they keep this up. :togo:
