Default Whats a good Video Editiing Program??

Hi Guys,

As the title says, whats a good video editing program??

I have no idea :( basically I want to be able to record video I take with my camera (which I can) then edit it, add music, words all that jazz.

Anyone know of any good ones??

windows movie maker. basic, but damn good for small projects. but if you wanna go big, theres an adobe program, which i forgot the name of, which is really good.

Screenblast Movie Studio is what I use and it is great. Easy to learn and you can easily add extra sound and video tracks to you movie etc

Its part of Windows XP and Vista.

Have a look in the start menu...I cant remember where it is in XP, Im runing Vista.

Start/Programs/accessories/entertainmemt

If its not there in the dropbox you will have to go into My Computer/C:drive(if thats your drive)/Windows ..... it should be there amongst all the folders there ;)

Hehehehehehe...... a computer thinggy I can answer :P

What everyone says is good. As always it comes down to money.
Movie Maker (and iMovie for MACs) is free, probably a good place to start.
When you reach the limits of the free programs spend some cash on Adobe Pinnacle etc. Spend some money on a good tripod, a steady shot is a good shot.
