If you have no responses I guess you can hire one for a day, or buy one for about the same price from Super Cheap

I rigged up a winch in my garage when i needed to do an engine swap, i bought a 500kg block and tackle (again from Super Cheap i think) and a few bits and pieces to rig it up and for about $100 is was done.

that doesnt sound bad, i hired one last time from kenards. we used it twice over 2 weekends and went through 5 rams, they keep leaking and a few time we had to leave the motor proped up waiting for a new one to arrive.
Brenxs crane worked faultlessly, once i got the hang of the dodgy valve! And brenx, yep got it in without having to dismantle the front end!
