I remember it on the tele. The accussed was the mosy pathetic looking man you have ever seen. Skin and bone, weasal looking, oxygen thieving wimp.
Along with the beatings were multiple cigarette burns.

I thought that it was all an act by that thing posing as the grief stricken mother. Her eyes were the coldest and most evil I have ever seen.

At the time, we could only hope that out of that tradgedy that the laws would have changed and more powere given to welfare services and the like. Unfortunately they havent.

That is a horrific story and sadly it isn't a one off thing in this country. There are so many children abused and/or killed because of oxygen thieving scum.

Very sickening but terribly common and varying in degrees. Most of you probably know someone who was treated very badly as a child, but dont know it. It is disgusting how common it is for children to be badly mistreated and beaten.

I hope those two never get out of jail, ever. And I am glad that little boy is at peace.

I was reading this story this morning at about 3am, as I was packing my sub-agent newspaper deliveries...

I was in tears by the end.

All morning I have been thinking about what pour John was subjected to and I cannot reason how any person could do that to another, let alone a mother to her own child.

These types of crimes against vunerable victims who cannot defend themselves should NEVER be forgotten. No length of prison time can earn freedom. The sub-human individuals who commit such acts should be made to suffer for an eternity.

We are not.

Spiders kill each other, kangaroos sometimes kill each other...it's common.

However, as human beings we have the benefit of rational thought. This allows us to assess situations and respond accordingly.

But thats the problem, we need natural life sentences for people like this. They wont last 2 days outside in the real world. This in itself doesnt worry me, but I'd hate to see a (rightfully) furious member of the public ruin their own life by doing something rash like end these two vermin and go to jail.
