Default Au xr8

Fellas,

I noticed today when I arrived at work there was about 2 meters of fibreglass string material coming out of my exhaust. I have a 3" inch cat back on my 220. Any ideas, and what should I do.

Cheers

Replace the exhaust. Or just the muffler, either or.

Cheers, I don't think the exhaust needs replacing, maybe the muffler.

It will be just the muffler that needs replacing.

It means the perforated part of your muffler rusted out from the inside,id say the rest of the exhaust may not be too far behind rustwise at a guess.
Manta do a nice twin system to suit the one on my 220 sounds great.

Cheers Tickford 220,

I would like to change the whole exhaust, starting with the headers. It will be on the list one day. Although the 3" catback, is not to bad. I would like to take a 220 for a drive with twins. I can't seem to think there would be much difference. Mine is pretty responsive in all gears. I am sure this would be a very debatable topic.

Regards
