The Ranch or Ranch was variously preceded by Matra, Simca, Talbot or Chrysler or some combination of these depending on which market and which it was being sold in. But Matra Simca badged cars also include the Murena featured in this thread a few pages back so that alone wasn't enough.

That was so easy as the were common in the early 70's in oz and my sister's boyfriend (now husband) had a red one that I occasionally helped him work on. It was extremely reliable and fuel frugal little car and he always regretted trading it on a HR Holden station wagon.

I cheated, I live in Cairns - we seem to be the elephants graveyard for abandoned backpacker specials; Urvans are but one of many such beasts quietly disolving in the Tropical climate.......
