The cars in the background of the second pic should be a big clue.

I see a Falcon wagon, Commodore ute, Magna sedan, Patrol, Landcruiser and some other 4x4. Which one is the clue?

Yes, most certainly a De Joux Grand Turismo.

Note this was a specifc model based on a RWD Triumph Herald chassis somewhat akin to the Buckler style race cars above and should not be confused with the higher volume front wheel drive DE Joux Mini GT which was based on a FWD Mini chassis (of which approx 30 were built)

Yes an Australian made car. Initials of the maker and a number are the name of the car.

There was also a road going version, the KM300, but the only pic I could find of that car was very grainy black and white in this: http://www.v8vantage.com/buchananmot...Number%207.pdf

OK in the spirit of more common easily recognised vehicles, and as it was called slightly different names in different markets, I will accept any one of those names:

Although some models were available with offroad gear including a bumper mounted winch, spare wheel on roof and LSD it was a 4 pot two wheel drive. And a give-away clue: it has links with the Oz Centura.
