Dope/drugs will do that to people.

For those of you who don't believe in ghosts, you never want to dare me for an offer of a sitting in a haunted cellar, they're the worst. Much worse than houses per se. Not everyone that posts on this forum are one dimensional Ford freaks.
5 pages a bit too much for me to read just now, but thought id ask you jonk if you've heard about any of the ghost stories that eminate from my home region of the Adelaide Hills.

I know 3 people who PERSONALLY claim they have seen a man with a "long face" standing on the side of a road that goes between littlehampton and balhannah. Always at night, always with really heavy rain.

Anyways, the ghost in question has some notoriety around the hills... thought you may have come across it in your enquiries?

Ive not seen anything personally that makes me a believer. But... i guess... i want to. There are a few spots around the adelaide hills (this is where i grew up) that leave me with a feeling i'd rather not be subjected to...

"Goat hill" is an area near bridgewater, adjacent to arbury park. There used to be a Gaol up there, many many years ago (ive been told convict era, but dont know enough about the local area to confirm/deny). This place has the most awful feeling to it... cant explain it... if you've felt it, you know what i mean.

There is a defunct house out the back of Verdun main street... behind grumpy's brewhouse and the servo... you can see it from the freeway. Again, has *that* feeling about it.... you wouldnt catch me there alone at night.

When my brother was 2-3 yrs old he would sometimes wave and start laughing towards the ceiling, when we would ask him what he was looking at, he would say the man. Also when he used to play in his room by himself he used to tell us he was playing with our grandpa who had died shortly before. My cousin too once was awoken in the night and saw our grandpa and got so scared she wet herself. Some strange stuff happened after our grandpa died but most of it only happened to the younger grand kids. I havent personally had any experiences but I do fell things sometimes and think that somethings watching me but Im still rather skeptic on it all.

I just read the forum rules.

Wow, rule number 1, no religious talk. I'm really shocked at that.

I don't see anything wrong with healthy and respectful debate and an exploration of other people's ideas.

Why is it so hard for people to agree to disagree?

Wouldn't they come through with messages of hate and hurt thus causing doubt within and winning in it's attempt to lure?

George, how can you say that they are ALL Demons. I have had experiences that have comforted me. Made me feel safe and content. Not once have I ever felt threatened or uncomfortable with any of my recent experiences. If the purpose of spirits is to lure you away from good and a belief in God, then why do they come through lovingly. A spirit that comes through and creates such peace within me tells me that's an Angel, not a Demon trying to deceive me. One trying to deceive would catch your attention with false love/false content but eventually show itself and showing you that you have had an experience with a Demon which I think would only make your love for and belief in God stronger knowing you had enough belief in your heart to turn the Demon away. One's that comes through with messages of peace etc only cannot be a Demon! They must be our Angels, our protectors, our guides...

If I had an experience that made me feel uncomfortable or scared me then yes, I would call that a Demon trying to lure me with it's trickery. But to suggest that spirit messengers of love and calm are Demons. No I'm sorry, I disagree and will never believe it. I'm not saying there is no evil. There is evil in life and after it but it's not all evil is what I believe. And I don't think I've EVER heard our priest say that Angels are Demons!
I've not made myself very clear have I? And understandably have got a strong reaction.

All manelovent spirits, orbs, ghosts and the like are not of God.

Of course there are Angels, messengers of God who do bring messages of encouragement and comfort. I thought that was a given.

Crash course in demonology.
God (almighty creator = Trinity) has 2/3 angels = good guys!

Satan = Chief angel rebells against God, taking 1/3 of the angels with him, they are now demons. These are the ones that decieve and lead astray etc.

The Bible does say that even those that come with the illusion of such comforting messages etc, may in fact be masquerading. We have to be careful to be able to discern the difference.

Sorry if that was unclear. Not suggesting that any pleasant activity you may have experienced was never angels. I see how my post read as such, not what I meant. Sorry again.

Not meaning to flaunt the rules, just not wanting to leave Krissy with an unpleasant taste in her mouth that of course shouldn't be there!

I can see how wars are started!

Its like watching an argument over what colour car you'd by if you won x-lotto, when in reality your not going to win x-lotto therefore making the whole debate pointless!

Some will see the relationship to which I am referring, but I know many wont.

well this is off topic .but try you tube . search for aliens . or the face of mars . in 2001 the face of mars is still there , it was disguised for footage to be shown on tv / also have you seen , the latest on alian interviews . some say they are not of this dimension . just like ghosts . apparantely also there intelligence is so high , that we are not capable of interpreting / or comprehending thier technology . which means we would never get where they are because it would be compared to a dog writing a novel , or a chimp, designoing and building the next falcon . in some strange way , these can all be compared ie they all can be considered in other dimensions, even more interesting than ghosts .

Mikey, you don't have to be rude about it.

You are actually now making comments about religion yourself that could easily be seen to be insulting people of genuine faith.

Ah the double standards! LOL!

I have felt demonic activity in our house. My little fella saw this "lady". My next door neighbours said that a previous owner died in our house. This thing made its presence felt as we as a family had a real rough time health wise because after moving in, we have never been so crook. You could physically feel something inside watching our every move. The loungeroom was freezing. Without offending others, lets just say that this demonic presence doesn't lurk here anymore.

I had a similar experience barnacus. Had trouble sleeping, weird feelings like I was being watched and such. Saw a demon through a door. The place just wasn't right you know?

Turns out the house we were renting used to be a brothel! Go figure! I suspect in a similar way to you though, the house was cleaned out!

Go back and check the field. It might be Fisher's Ghost trying to tell you something.
