The game is apparently being re-released in Australia soon, but its V2.0 and from what I've read you can't install mods on it (for PC users).

Edit: Well actually not soon, it isnt confirmed to be released again in Australia infact. The only way I think is to download it or steal a mates V1.0x of the game before the ban.

This sort of censorship is ridiculous in the extreme. All of thes censors that ban a game due to some sexual content should be a fly on a wall at an average 15 year old boys school group. Most of a childs knowledge of sex will be learned at school.

Its high time there was an R rating for games and that games get recognised as not solely the domain of the pimply faced teen.

I love the way this sort of thing works!!!

Now let's release it and wait untill every man and his dog have a copy and then we will ban it!

I'm just thankful the people trying to have these games banned are so ignorent of whats in them because otherwise we would never have any fun!

Manhunt is still rockstars most disturbing game to date i reckon.

I love it how idiots are spending $100+ for an "uncensored" version of the game.

It's being (been?) re-released without the ability to be patched and with the code for the sex-scene taken out. Apart from that it's EXACTLY the same as the original game.

This "uncensored" version has NOTHING different except for that one single scene, which you couldn't even access without a patch in the first place.

Yet for some reason it sells for HEAPS more than the standard game?

Dumb.

We're turning more and more into America every day. It's ok to kill innocent people in cold blood, just don't have consentual sex with them, that's bad. Solution...? We'll remove the sex part so you can now kill away until your hearts content.

Version 2 does not allow modding of any sort, program hacks, vehicles and weapon replacments don't work

Familiar methods apply to other Australian regulations too.... Remove speeding thus zero fatalities and everyone's a safe driver and can do what they want because nothing else will kill them... yeah... right.

You can on XboX but it's still not easy. Playing it on a computer is brilliant, what with modding it, and the fact that a mouse and keyboard gives you better control. You take a while to get used to the controls, but after that it's better (trust me, I've converted one of my friends from PS2 to PC for GTA)

I tend to play both, but generally shooters and so on belong on the PC where you can get some decent control over where you shoot (case in point: that mission shooting from Zero's roof. Took me hours on PS2, didn't get bombed at all on PC) Whilst driving games and beat-em-ups are for consoles generally.

Yeah I dying to get San Andreas on PC, I failed to get it when it first came out on PC, so Im kicking myslef.

Anyhow ive been playing it on PS2 (i bought it the day it came out), but it just doesnt compare to PC. Vice City converted me to PC, now i just cant stand the Ps2 controller.
