Just looking at it makes me feel sick. I can't bring myself to order a double quarter pounder let alone something like that.
Looking at it makes me feel like a salad :

That said though, if they brought it down under I'd give it a go.... Although I said the same for the tower burger and never did. Do they still have that?

It's ridiculous. There is nothing overly bad about a burger in it's individual components, but the Health Kickers go bananas when it's put together in burger form.

I'll have two, by the way.

Unimaginative! Jam the contents of a pound between two KFC fillets. It'll cost you about $15, but at least you've made a ceasefire in the fast food wars. The Colonel and Ronald, together at last.

This is a burger offered up by the local internet cafe down my way.

http://www.almamays.com.au/

As for the KFC burger, How is that any different from when every now and then I get a zinger bacon cheese with extra zinger fillet, at least I still eat the bun to lol.

Had a McDonalds Angus burger today to give it a crack. It's not a bad burger and at least they use fresh ingredients on it, but I took a bite of the meat patty by itself and it was very bland.

If they're going to go to the trouble of mincing angus beef and charging premium price for it, you'd think they would cook it in a way that brought out its flavour.

The best burgers are the ones where the protein has a bold flavour and in the case of a beef burger, also a little char grilled flavour on it.

Dissapointing but then I only expected it to be an average quality burger at best.

Its frozen processed meat. I wouldn't expect the taste of a proper steak. I had one when they trialed these burgers at the head office maccas in Thornleigh, NSW about 6 months ago. I thought it was damn tastey for a Maccas burger but hell i must have put 2 kgs on that day..

Very dissapointed then. Reading the blurb on their website, they're offering it to try and promote Angus beef and considering the price you pay, I thought it would have been better than a processed icicle defrosted on a hot plate. I'm a big fan of Angus rump and if anything, it would turn me off the product if I hadn't tasted the beef prior to tasting the burger. Bland and not seasoned at all.

You can preface it and say it's tasty for a Maccas burger but then it's a really low bar to scale, but I do agree with you.. it is tasty for a Maccas burger. :P

You know, I almost bought one of those Angus burgers for lunch today, but then got distracted by the quarter pounder with optional bacon. But instead bought a Bic Mac.

Now I'm glad I didn't buy the Angie.

It's quick and it's convenient, I didn't go there for a dining experience, I went to try out an "Angus" burger while sitting in my car.

It's a fast food thread, if you want to talk about decent food, start another. :P

Fast food is anything that has been made (or started to be made) before you order it. So really, whether it's fresh or not is irrelavent, because there's still nothing but crud in them anyway.

I crave maccas triple cheeseburgers at 4 everyday after work. They are just so perfect for me!! Cheesy greasy sugary goodness.(sugar in the bun). Plus two meat and cheese..

I had an angus burger today, got the grand or whatever the one with salad was minus red onion. Was pretty bland tbh, when I got to jus meat and cheese, I may as well just bought a quarter pounder as it tasted the same. I like the bun, and it would go well with big mac sauce.

I had an Angus and a Big mac (which is 25% smaller than it use to be)

It's not bad but way too expensive for what it is. The flavour comes from the sauce they use rather than the meat which makes it pretty bland. Was filling though. :P

Yes in terms of fast food, Nandos is at the top of the tree.

Supremo chicken burger with avocado, cheese and bacon FTW

I reckon as you start to get older you start realising why old farts are they way they are. You get up sore, you nod off every afternoon, and you start hating fast food. KFC chicken is rubbish, too oily and too much gristle being hidden by the crumbs/batter whatever they put on it.

The new angus burgers are ace imo

This KFC monster (if I ever try it) would probably keep me in the gym for the better part of half a day just to work the bugger off!

That angus burger meal (medium) is over a third of the RDI of Kilojoules for the average male fyi! Wouldnt dare ask what the KFC burger had in it =P
