It was alot of fun, but what was even worse then having to hand it in under the gun buy back scheme was getting an EPA notice on my EB at the front of the Police station when I went to hand it in. I had to get the exhaust tested, It passed but I had to pay $50 for the test.

I play weekend competition tennis, drink far too much (working in a bottle shop doesn't help) and waste alot of money on seeing bands. I am also an obsessed Carlton fan, which is unfortunate for me at the moment.
I don't mind hitting the gym a few times a week, but I generally undo all the good work chasing skirt Thurs to Sunday at some form of pub or club.

Sorry, but nothing beats the sound of an 81 class locomotive in 8 notch (flat out) pulling 900rpm. Emu Plains to Katoomba is sublime... 8 notch all the way at 25km/h on a full load.

Maybe thats why we get so many noise complaints on the mountains! Some people have no taste!

God, don't let my father read that. He wanted to be a train driver back in the day. Then they went electric, and he became an interstate truckie instead.

Real trains (freight) are all diesel. Only the horizontal elevators (sheep, I'm mean passengers) are electric.

Yep you could switch between pump and semi-auto.
I bought it for $1,500 from Frank O-Reileys in Thornbury, I got $980 when I handed it in 3 years later.

Anything high tech, travelling, another shooter (dad just got a g24, IPSC is damn fun), boating, music (play the clarinet), having a pint or 15 with the boys.

Whereabouts do you live round here???

If anyone says 'boo' louder than a snail's fart there's noise complaints, EPA testing and Council pass new laws and charge more fees.

Oh and whoever is talking guns, it really was a good hobby, back in the 'good old days'. Since the amnesty it just got too hard so I never bothered. Nothing like the smooth kickback of a 38 special...

Other than cars I basically love to chill out with a good friend of mine, Mr Jack Daniels
I have played guitar for around 7 years now and have been in a few bands. Have recently just started up another so that gives me something to do..

Damm I just read all the info on that site I posted about the SPAS12, reliving old memories and found out that its considered a collectors item in the states now and goes for between $4000 to $5000 US$ and that info is a couple of years old.
Man am I cut, If I didn't have to hand it back I would of had a nice rare gun that I could of sold for a nice profit.

Paul7v7, that is a very nice kit for a begginner, my first sucked big time. Funny how almost everyone gets a black kit as there first.

I play indoor tennis, ride my dirt bike every chance I get, all spare time goes into percussion. Currently getting a fortnightly 1 hour private lesson on the kit and weekly djembe workshops.... it's great fun :voldar02: In a band as well but don't have a bass guitarist yet so it's just for a muck about at the moment.

this is my second kit, all maple shells and sounds really FAT!!!

I like watching and going to the footy. Don't mind a bit of PS2 every now and then and watching movies also. I used to play a fair bit of Tennis, but not so much these days. I'm a big fan of reality shows such as Survivor and The Amazing Race, but can't stand Big Brother. That's about it, I guess I'm pretty boring.
