I never should have given my restored XD away. I bought it, ripped the running gear out of it, and gave it to a mate who sent it to the crusher. I should have kept it and done a ESP mock up. It was already full of ESP bits including diff and 4 wheels discs. I've been kicking myself for years.
Do up the XD. Awesome shape and can be made to look real nice with a set of wheels and dumped suspension. |

Fix up the XD and keep it. In 10 years people will look at xd's the same way people look at xt's and wish they never sold theirs. If you want a daily reliable driver get a newer car though.

do the deed do the D seeing as you already have a daily driver and you want something for crusin and the xd sounds like its already an 8 and fairly neat clean it up especialy seeing as the body is ok and if your going to try to paint her they dont take much to look good

yes still (as money n time permit) doing the rebuilding the zh fairlane with a clevo 400m 4v heads injected whipple blown with aode 4 speed trans to a 9" ....... we'll get there eventually just remember don't be afraid to try something new. Remember, amateurs built the Ark...Professionals built the Titanic! I have taken up meditation... at least it's better than sitting around doing nothing !! |
