I don't really have dreams anymore and if i do its either like im falling and i wake up shaky and panniky, just plain wierd and scrambled or awsome but i maybe have one once a month the falling ones more often. When i was younger i used to have some horrid dreams but i would never wake up during them i would stay asleep and they just kept coming, it was odd but it hasnt happened since i was about 14 or so.

Apparantly I swear like a sailor when I sleep. Doesn't happen all the time though.
There have been times too where I've woken myself up because of it. The last one I was told I yelled out "You fat so-and-so". I've also been told it scares the hell of anyone who hears it. I really think I need help...

I get dreams where the situation is like real life, and i'll be able to see myself or through my eyes, weird things are happening but not impossible and weird things would happen to me like not being able to run or sometimes not even being able to move while everyone else is getting away. My mate tried to explain this to me but it's easier to understand by watching it. It was a cartoon style where this hippy was talking to this other guy about dreams in a real deep way and finished by telling him about the lightswitch trick. The guy leaves the room and on the way hits a light switch and nothing happens. Very cool. Now everytime I can't tell if I'm dreaming I head for the nearest lightswitch and try it. Always nothing happens and then I am in instant control, I can do whatever i like superhero style and the dreams become so cool I try not to wake up. |

I vividly remember having a bad experience waking up once. I dreamt I was holding down an insane woman when she lunged out of my grasp. In the dream I woke up with a fright in my bed but could sense something was in there with me hiding in the dark.
Something powerful grabbed me by the legs and threw me into the air. I woke up in mid air just in time to crunch into the brick wall of my bedroom. I must have jumped off my bed in my sleep and ended up pounding the wall about 2 meters off the ground then sliding down it. I had a graze from my neck to my lower back. After sitting stunned for a moment I got up to go wash off the blood. When I walked into the bathroom I hung my head down for a second, then when I looked up in the mirror the insane woman was behind me. Must have still only been half awake. At that point I went and cracked a beer and sat watching infomercials until the sun came up. Figured I wasn't going to get a good nights sleep. Play with that one physcologists... |

Thats kinda weird mate. I sometimes have simailar expierences as you where I dream about something, and wake up but can somehow sense that it is still there with me. I sometimes call out "go away, leave me alone", even though I am half awake, I can't stop myself from calling.

I answer questions in my sleep. I don't normally talk though.
I used to get up the next morning and have brekky with Dad, and because he usually comes home long after I'm in bed asleep, I don't get to talk to him often, and as I'd start telling him about things I'd done since the last time I saw him, he'd start filling in bits of information for me, and I couldn't figure out how he knew. Then he told me.

Nah its not so weird. My brother in law and neice both act up a lot in their sleep. Both my parents but especially my mother would sleep walk when I was young. I've never had a problem with it apart from that one dream. My girlfriend says I sleep the sleep of the dead...
