nope, the woman was trying to sell the naming rights to her baby - IE, you could buy the right to name her baby for 5 years and use the baby for you'r business' promotional excercises

A colour picture of the pregnant woman, with the words "Reality Bites! Your Brand Here" painted on her bulging belly accompany the advertisement. "For a period of FIVE YEARS from the date of birth, we are offering the exclusive naming rights (first name only) to my unborn baby due March 1, 2005," the advertisement states. "Your company can have the exclusive rights to name my baby and use for all appearances, advertising, promotion and marketing for a period of five years.

She was a bit of a hideous wilderbeast. I think theres enough abuse of children in this world without having to be used by their parents for money making purposes. There are so many outcries about child slave labour, yet this is very similar. Do you think that baby would've seen a cent of that money??? The crack-whore mother would probably spend it on paper bags so she could get another root.
BTW, I'm so glad no-one suggested we should pool our money and bid on the name fordforums.com.au !!!!
