It's almost Christmas and I hear Christmas songs everywhere. It got me wondering what my favourite song is, one I can listen to over and over each year. And the opposite - what song is totally overplayed and I can pass on hearing until next year? What's yours?
Mine are: favourite - "White Christmas" least - any Christmas song sung by barking dogs or meowing cats or Justin Beiber or JoBro (no offense if that's your thing) |

Carol of the Bells, and though it's not really a Christmas song as such - The Hallelujah Chorus.
Back when I played in an orchestra it was one of my favourite pieces to perform. (Bizet's "Carmen" was the other fave)

"I saw Three Ships" by Jon Anderson of "'Yes" fame. A really nice Christmas Song. Your kids will love it. The CD used to be very hard to get but you can probably download the song these days.

Oh the great Bing Crosby, what a truly amazing voice, the deep notes, the high notes, combined with incredible whistling! White Christmas is great. Frank Sinatra Jingle Bells too...even Dean Martin, I could go on hahaha

Christmassacre - FFTL
I hate Christmas Carols - dads turned senile or something in the last few years - he's bought about 15 Carols compilation albums by all sorts of artists - and plays them NON-STOP until Christmas is over. I can't stand it and don't hang around for long, and they wonder why i'm anti-social lol
