Default Installing CAI

Hello all

I just got my bluepower CAI today for my BF XR8

Iv removed my stock airbox and just looking at how it all goes together inc reading the instructions.

2 questions

1) Just in front if the headlight there is an earth cable bolted down - next to that is a cable that runs from left to right across the engine bay - when i put the lower half of the intake in - it is pressing against this cable and does not look like any better way to run the cable

2) in the box there was a piece of rubber that looks like it is meant to protect the edge of something, where on the airbox does this go?

thanks
Luke

The bit of protector sounds like the bit that goes around the inside of the hole in the box where the air filter pokes through?
Could probably go down stairs and have a look to answer the first question if no one else can help

Yep thats what you do.There should be a little notch where the new box meets the wheel arch. It should run through there.

Cheers

i ended up running it though the corner of the airbox, there was a notch about half way across the airbox but no way was it going to reach that far.
