Default NSW - Cruise to Bathurst

Hey guys,

Since the last cruise never happened lets lock this one in:

Date : 16th December 2007

What time : 9:30am for 10:00am departure

Meeting point : McGraths Hill Maccas (On Old Windsor Road, near WINFORD)

Destination/Route : Travel to Lithgow and Bathurst via Bells Line. Bells line has sone great twisties and is free flowing. We will re group at the ford dealership in Lithgow then head to bathurst for a lap. Lunch from there is about 5 mins from track.

What to bring: Yourself, automobile, lunch or $$$ for lunch, camera, full tank of petrol.

So far we have about 7-8 cars attending

Don't worry Buck', we'll have to wait around for the "slower" cars to catch up so I'm sure we'll be able to meet up... :

I always thought there was a special bowser for Euro Fords... so the truth comes out! seriously guys it will be good to have a decent meet and cruise with all the "modern" Ford people.

We had around 30 small fords on the start line at Bathurst this year in mid Feb 07.
There is an awesome photo going around. Hope you can do the same. The Bathurst drive is fantastic especially in 460hp cossie powered vehicles

Looks like at this stage there will be 2 XR5's from Canberra coming. Myself and another, and I am trying to rally a few others. I have a pass from the Mrs. Woohoo

Why do you need to go to the Hair Salon? I thought you Hairdryer guys just put your head under the bonnet? :
You see that's why they say the Boss motor costs more to run John, you have to pay to get your hair dryed now If only you weren't such a fanatic about your hair :P

Ives, we are aiming to meet at McGraths Hill. Getting out from Canberra at 6.30, north side, so we figure maybe 2 1/2 hours to McGraths Hills should see us getting there on time. I investigated the lithgow option, but I think the shortcut involves some unsealed road.

Thanks Ives

10 am departures. I actually thought it was 9.30. Just re-read the post. This is better, means we will definatley be there within time and will get a break before we head off to Bathurst.

Thanks. A number will be great idea. I'll send you mine as well.

Cheers

Dwayne
