This is just a bit of an old brain teaser / sort of. An old greek bloke told it to me years ago and i have been trying to remember it since, it just happened to pop back in my head yesterday. lol
Some of you older guys/gals might already know this one, or know of a similar version, here goes .......... ------------------------------------------------------------------------ 3 men go out for pizzas, each of the men throw in $10 to pay for them (total of $30) They pay the waiter, the waiter puts $2 in his pocket as a person tip to himself. The waiter also gives the men $1 change back each. So in total the men payed $27 for the pizzas ($9 each) + the $2 in the waiters pocket = $29 ......... Where's the other dollar !!!!! ????? lol ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Working it out different ways it is possible to find the missing dollar, just mentioned the above way it sorta screws things up . An old one but a good one imo .lol. cheers.

$30 - $2 - ($1 x 3) = $25
$25 + $2 = $27 (or 3 x $9) |

hahaha , yes as i mentioned it can be worked out right different ways , but the way it mentioned can throw some people off. And as rob_ls1 wrote , there is also a few other combo's of working it out which can thow it out of whack even more / more missing / it can = those amounts too. Just depends which way you read it or look at it , some pople fall for it when read the above way ;) .

Try this one:
There are 7 days in a week, and 52 weeks per year, agreed? Well, 7 x 52 = 364, but everyone knows that a year is 365 days! What happened to the missing day? It's even worse in a leap year. We lose 2 days there! |

Actually there is 365.25 days a year and because we cant have a quater of a day on a calender we have leap years. ;) I guess if you really get down to it the earth rotates 365.25 times on its axis every time it rotates once around the sun. :

You would get more nutrition out of eating the box. It would probably taste better as well.

Also, the sticks are reduced in size. You don't get two of what you had. You get 2 X 1/2 of what you had. So you still have the original stick. It is just in 2 pieces that put together, will equal the once whole stick. Icky Wicky Oop Oop, Dum Dee Shimmy Shoop Shoop. |

Tonight is pizza night for me, I can taste it already after reading this thread. Pizza Hut with a voucher $4.95 each. Last friday were the best we have tasted.
I don't really get the point of the above "story". The pizzas cost $25 as already stated, how can anyone be made to think otherwise??, its pretty clear: $30 - $2 -$3 =$25!!! I miss the Gourmet Pizza Kitchen at Lalor Park. Chicken, king prawns and sweet chilli sauce (a.k.a. The Byron Bay)......Cost a bit more but worth it. Now they have dodgy PEDRO's Pizza there, from $4.95 for a pizza with nothing on it. Worst pizza experience (but NOT the worst pizza) I ever had was in Genoa in Italy. I ordered "pizza al mare" (seafood pizza) and they put a can of tuna on it, that was the seafood, not happy. Quote:
