Indiana Jones... not sure which one but I remember my Mum telling me I wouldn't be seeing another movie for a few years... it seems I needed to go to the toilet too many times

I fell asleep during the original Star Wars in 1975. First movie I remember going to see was The Lost Island, it was a TV show after that. Had all these shipwrecked people lost in time, ruled over by a tyrant, whose face was in a mask! I also remember seeing Grease in 1978. I still have the cassette.

Either the Star Wars Trilogy at the drive in when ROTJ came out (If the drive in counts) or Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom at the cinema.

I remember going to see Pocahontas with the family and my friend. I remember having this huge fight about who would be pocahontas and who would be nakoma. We both wanted to be pocahontas of course, and we both had long hair but hers was black.
lol she slept over my house that night and we barely talked all night!
That was the first movie i remember watching at the cinema, but i know i did see others before then, i just dont remember

Didnt go to a lot of movies when i was a kid, lived far away from the city and the folks didnt have the kind of disposable income needed to take 2 kids for a trip to the cinema (yes, it was expensive back then as well lol).

The first one i can remember going to see was prob Bram Stoker's Dracula. Lol, i still love that movie, im not sure why... maybe its because of the memories of when i used to have a functional family! lol

The first one I can remember was my aunty taking me to Point Break...LOL Also saw that one with the crazy lions with Val Kimer (Ghost in the Night??). I was pretty scared in that one..lol

Other than that the earliest that I can think of would have been The Lion King.

+1 for never ending story. It was at the drive in. Dad made two of us kids lie down in the back of the wagon so he could just buy a standard family ticket (there was four of us kids). :thebirds:

At the actual cinema I think it may have been Jurasic Park.

It probably wasn't the very first movie I ever saw in a cinema, but the one that made the biggest impression on me even to this day was Pink Floyd's "The Wall", first saw it when it came out about 1980 if I remember correctly, Bob Geldof in the lead role.........."completely blew me away!!, stunning amazing movie."

I can't remember the title, it was some version of Puss In Boots, was about the quality of a c grade horror, cept without the gore, I was 3 or 4, I was with my dad, and I was PETRIFIED by the 6 foot cat, they showed a close up of the boots and panned up to the cat, looked huge and mean, I started cryin and we left. I can't remember much else at that age, but I can vividly remember that. Funny thing the old brain box.

My first movie was at the Drive In and it was E.T. – disturbingly they played the Poltergeist movie before E.T. and I spent the majority of the night with my head being shoved under the dashboard by my Mum who thought it was far too gruesome for me to be watching – Hello Mum…. You took me!

Funny thing is that I was petrified of ET and didn’t give a rats about Poltergeist…. _

Not sure how old I was... probably about 5. I also clearly remember Mum made me wear my PJ's, Dressing Gown and slippers and than paraded me up and down to the kiosk and toilets all night... how lame Mum no wonder I am so messed up. :

Default I am an oldie

I can remember going with my brother to the Regent in Brisbane when I was about 7. We saw the Italian Job. I fell in love with the Mini Coopers and cars in general. :eclipsee_ I think I cried when they shoved them out the back of the bus at the end. They never did a sequel so as far as I know they might still be dangling over that cliff.
