Default Add a Amplifier using Low Level Output on your BA BF or Territory

Forget High-to-Low converters. We offer a Low Level output for your Falcon BA/BF or Territory. Now you can add a amplifier with ease to your existing factory stereo

Hi Fadi,

Sounds great! So is this a direct RCA out from the factory head, with no signal processing? From what I understand, the factory head sends specific output to both the cabin speakers, and a similar "chopped" via crossover signal to the sub. I'm after one full range L / R RCA out to go into a parametric EQ for distribution to dedicated amps and speakers.

Thanks man!

Yes, this signal is sourced from the unit before it is amplified by the power IC. From there it can be supplied in to power amps. Please be advised the warranty will be void if this modification is undertaken

thanks

Is this a kit that can be sent to Perth or is it something that needs to be done on-site?

Cheers!

fadi75,

Is the radio mudule easy enough to pull out without doing any damage to the rest of the dash (ICC)??

Do you put female RCA connects as part of this kit, so that I can plug my RCAs in and run them straight to the amp??

Cheers mate,
Goran

its very simple to remove, if ur not to sure please contact us us after new year and we can tell u exactly what to do over the phone. no damage will occur on ur icc, very basic procedure, and yes we include rca's coming out from radio module and a remote wire as well.

Fadi,
My main objectives is to build upon the TFT/6 indash upgrade that you did last week ago in order to create a system that is somewhat the same as Factory Fitted Ford Premium Sound (if not better). Now on the "Factory" Fitted Premium sound- how is the amplifer connected to the ICC in the first place? is it not RCAs? How is this the low level output connection upgrade differ from the Factory fitted premium sound setup?

Secondly you mentioned that once this upgrade was done, thier will be no sound emanating unless I provided the amplifer and speakers why is this? I am a bit confused?. I realise I have to provide the amplifer speaker etc but don't the front speakers run directly from the headunit (ICC)? or do they also have to go via the amplifer. Sorry for the multitude of questions I am totaly new to incar audio and setups.

Thirdly their is some conflicting statements on how many speakers the Factory fitted premium sound is supplied with- Just wondering if you know how many speakers Ford actually provide and thier locations?

Thanks
Chaminda

The main amplifier in the BA-BF and Territory's is connected via one plug. No RCA's just connections from the main harness to the AMP and this supplies a Subwoofer only. Our system differs by tapping a pure low-level signal from either 2, 4 or 5 including the Subwoofer into RCA's that can be connected to any amplifier. Not just the supplied factory one. We also tap a 12v trigger wire to power your amp so you don't have to connect your amps to the Acc line.

Once the upgrade has been done to isolate the low-level output we disconnect the output to the power IC's. If we don't do this you are basically halving the output to the amps. We can supply it connected inline but we don't recommend it. If you wish to keep the existing speakers the way they are we can tap a subwoofer output only.

Lastly, from the outputs on the ICC units there are 4 speaker outputs on the base setup and 5 including subwoofer on the premium.

Cheers

Hello Fadi

This modification sounds exactly what I'm looking for as I wish to install an Alpine V12 MRV-F450 into my BA GT-P.

Can you tell me the voltage that you are achieving at the RCA's and do you get any noise in the system after completing this mod?

Hi,
As these are not fixed line level outputs and are controlled via the volume control the voltage at the RCA's varies. We have done lots of these mods and have never had a complaint about noise in the system.

cheers

$220.00 pls freight back to you. you can seperate the cd module and reconnect the BEM where u can still start your car but we dont advise to drive since you lose some of the functions like speedo central locking etc...

please send it to modify.

cheers
