hey guys, I need help understanding the as/nz and as standards on helmets. what I read on willowbanks site was that if you do not hold an andra lisence (I dont have one) then you can use a helmet that is AS1698 standard. I have no idea wat this means or how to make sure a helmet that I go and buy in time for the end of next month will meet that standard also is there like a higher standard of a number how does that system work? please help me out here guys I dont want to go spend a few hundred on a helmet just to get turned away on the night. especially when Im traving 3 and half hours just to have a few runs on wednesday and saturday.

Good place to start. But standards stickers can be bought from anywhere and put on any helmet, weather it meets the standard or not. Go to a reputable motorbike or Motorsport store, you'll be fine.
