Smile Anyone playing Battlefield 1943?

I've just recently gotten into this one, a mate in Singapore got me hooked when I was there recently. Great game, basic, but lots of fun, but I'm starting to get a bit annoyed with these fags that are using cracks and whatnot to get invincibility.

And flying the planes is taking some getting used to.

Post up your username and we could start a FFAU BF43 clan

Nah I play Battlefield 2. It's pretty good, only because of the vehicle selections and respawn! ... Over all though Operation Flashpoint 2 destroys it lol ... ;)

I was playing Battlefield 2142 for a fair while, but then got a heap of new games on the Xbox, so haven't played in a while. Was a great game to play online. Exactly the same style of fighting on battlefield 1943, but futuristic weapons and vehiles and much better graphics.

Is 2142 a download-only game as well or can you buy it in shops?

Big fan of BF 1943. have played it for years in many modified forms too... Simple yet very enjoyable game....particulary when playing with mates over the net etc.

As for the aircraft i agree....as a very experienced Flight Sim pilot it is quite a change to get into BF because the aircraft are very 'arcade' and dont' really fly all that realistically compared to FS. But once you get the knack for it is quite a hoot. Too bad my flight control system doesn't work with BF (its too old a game to accept the inputs) so i have to use a dodgy old joystick i brought out of retirement...
